IRELAND-BASED CASE STUDY
BEM was approached by a tennis club in the West of Ireland facing a significant lighting challenge. The club had existing low-height poles and had previously been advised that the only solution was to remove them and install new 10-metre columns.
Using our in-house design expertise and the latest LED lens technology, we developed a bespoke solution that delivered the required court illumination levels while maintaining the existing poles — all without glare or light spill issues.
In another project, a client asked whether we could expand our lighting control platform to include access control, event management, membership management, and a complete booking system. The club wanted to replace multiple software providers with one streamlined solution to reduce costs and simplify operations.

All of our systems can be remotely monitored and managed, allowing us to provide rapid support when needed. In some cases, we have even remotely switched off lighting systems after facilities were accidentally left running late at night.

We have supplied lighting control solutions to sports clubs as far away as Tahiti, provided systems for night golf facilities in the Dominican Republic, and consulted on tennis club projects thousands of miles away where local expertise was unavailable.
